Our students, grades kindergarten through fifth grade complete a standardized test three times a year. Each student takes a test on either a Chromebook or desktop computer. The test can take anywhere from 35 minutes to over an hour. The use of headphones is pivotal for a successful testing session. Often times, our English Language Learners and special education students require audio testing accommodations. The headphones that we have are not the best quality and often fail to work properly. This results in a disruption in testing. I am requesting headphones to ensure all students receive an equal opportunity to a productive, engaging testing environment.
