A popular activity during recess at our school is soccer. With the low amount of soccer equipment I have now, my students are limited by the experience they have by playing with a foam ball outside, or learning how to pass to a partner with a volleyball that bounces too easily off their foot during a pass or dribbling with a playground that moves too slow when tapping with the inside foot. The largest class I have is 30 students, getting 30 individual soccer balls means that all 30 students would get an authentic experience playing soccer. Including what a typical hard soccer ball feels like when dribbling, how little bounce there is when receiving a pass from a teammate, and how difficult it can be to aim a soccer ball to a goal.
