Google Expedition Kit will allow me to create as many authentic and experiential learning experiences as possible. These experiences are important in developing students into future accomplished members of our community. School field trips can be unaffordable for many of my students and their hard-working families. Virtual field trips can be very powerful learning tools and many are free. My students will enjoy and learn by visiting the Pyramids of Egypt in Unit Egypt, Machu Pichu in Unit Peru or Statue of Liberty. These spatial memories will be embedded in their brain and will need no rehearsal. With your generous donations, I can take my students on virtual trips without ever leaving the classroom. By simply looking through the viewer, students can jump right in to explore.
