During walkabout activities, students walk around the room and practice their speaking and listening skills by asking each other questions and writing down what their classmates’ responses are. Currently, while we are working on these activities, students are struggling with finding places to fill out their worksheets. By giving our students clipboards to work from, their abilities to work in a mobile environment increases and allows for them to focus on the content rather than how to find a place to write. The clipboards will also be used when students are on field trips inside and outside of the building, making it easier for them to take down information to bring back to the classroom and share with their peers.
