Through substitute teaching and being a full time 3rd grade teacher I have learned that I like using a standing projector cart. I am a more effective teacher when I don’t have to go sit to use my document camera. I love walking around and being able to go to any student that needs something. If I didn’t have to sit and stand back up when doing some whole group lessons I would be more effective. My students retain more by creating things and interacting with each other. I plan on making interactive posters with my students. They enjoy creating and doing art so make posters is a great way to use that energy. It will also help them remember what they have learned by making it fun.
