This classroom set of books will help bring diversity of thought, color, and experiences to the minds of my middle school students. They will have the opportunity to experience a life they cannot recreate on their own to visualize what disadvantage as well as opportunity look like through the eyes of a young boy their own age. Through your help and support, our students will engage in literary circles, Socratic Seminars, and group discussions as well as independently looking deeper into the book by having individual copies for our entire class.

About my class
