My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in science. Much of the equipment in our lab is outdated or not working properly. Many of our chemicals are outdated and do not give consistent and reliable results. Laboratory experience is labor intensive for the instructor and can be overwhelming for the students if their opportunities to study in the lab are limited. I aim to provide laboratory classes at least twice per week to coincide with classroom instruction. To provide those experiences on a regular basis requires more glassware and chemicals than we can currently provide.
