Students are learning how to code in the library. Using a wireless optical mouse is so much easier than the touch pad. Some students are not as coordinated as others so I would like to give them the option of using a mouse or the touch pad. Having the mouse wireless keeps cords from getting in the way. Grades 2-5 will work independently and Pre-K thru grade 1 will have assistants. Reading will be impossible for most Pre-K thru grade 1 so adults will read while the students decide how the code should work and actually do the coding themselves.
