I teach Kindergarten and they are lively, energetic, and love to learn! Our school budget is tapped, but that does not mean I do not strive to give my students the very best of everything they need to make their learning experience awesome. This way their love of learning can be met with the resources they need. With this DonorsChoose project, I will be one step closer to offering my students a quieter atmosphere in which to learn.
My kindergartners live in households where, at times, it is extremely noisy and distracting for them. Not only are there adults in the house, but also their siblings trying to do their online work at the same time. With headphones specifically made for younger kids, you can help me provide enhanced learning opportunities. They have built-in volume regulators to keep the sound below 85db to protect their little ears. These headphones need to be provided to each student because sharing resources is not an option and we have students that are unable to provide their own. With this project, each student would be able to hear instruction and it provides the rest of us less background noise. Win-Win!!
