Our students practice mindfulness daily inside their classrooms. However, sometimes their lives are scary and unpredictable. When this is the case, it sometimes is really hard to be available to learn in class. Having a calm space when they can go to regulate themselves is crucial for them. In this space they will practice regulation skills to remind themselves that they can indeed get through whatever life throws at them. Last year we were able to get a room built within our counseling office, but we do not have any items to make it into our mindfulness room. This project will change that!

About my class
