Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times, they are able to choose a location in the classroom that is comfortable for them. My students are more engaged when they are given a choice of where to work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The lap desks will allow students to work independently in their own area while providing the comfort of a desk for writing. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that need to stretch. The rug will allow students to spread out and complete their work using the dry erase clip boards. The beanbag chairs will be used for additional floor seating. Headphones will be benefical for students to listen to audio books and complete video lessons.
