Since we do not have a library, I believe that having a classroom library will motivate the students to read on their own and then improving English STAAR scores. For example, our recent English teacher provided her own classroom books and that motivated one of our male students to read on his own. His English grade went up and he is motivated to take the test 12/10. If we get books for the English Classroom, I would think that the students would like to attend local libraries and English Workshops at our local college. I feel that these students need more help in English that will help support their education.
