In kindergarten we ask our parents to send in a lot of supplies for the year, however with our parents who sometimes work two jobs just to put food on the table and clothing on their kids purchasing school supplies is not often possible. We rarely get enough families to send in the needed amount of supplies for the year, thus meaning our supplies run out very early on, leaving us without necessary tools to support learning. For the school year 2019-2020 my goal is to have enough copy paper so we can make it through the year. The use of copy paper is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially with projects.
