My students have always been in a traditional high school classroom. They sit in desks, in rows, and in uncomfortable seats while they are in school. But my classroom isn't a traditional classroom. I want my students to feel comfortable and give them a choice in how and where they want to learn. My classroom will be a flexible seating paradise where students can choose to sit at the couches with their group members, at a cafe table to collaborate with a partner, or utilize the standing desks when they just need to get up and move around. The classroom will have a comfortable and homey atmosphere that will encourage them to engage in their learning experience in a whole new way.
