All of my students are currently taking Startup Tech. It is a blended learning tech-entrepreneurship course that asks students to identify ways to improve their world and to build marketable digital solutions using MIT App Inventor to write the code necessary to make the App functional. Students teams present their functional, original, mobile app that addresses a community need, develop a corresponding original abbreviated business plan and marketing materials in a trade show-style setting, with opportunities to network with and demo to professionals from the local business community in Startup Showcase expo for the chance to win funding and publicity.

About my class
