We were fortunate to open up a brand new sports facility. The new venue is wonderful but is lacking in easy access to an AED. Most of our sports will practice and compete in the facility. Having a stationary AED available at all times will help increase the chance of survival in the event of a cardiac emergency. Sudden cardiac arrest is the most common cause of death in young athletes. Access to an AED and early defibrillation greatly increases their chance of survival. If funded, this AED will provide early access to our stadium, baseball, and softball complexes.
