These fun activities will be used during our center times. The magnetic toys will be used on the magnet board to help children learn social skills and work together, along with problem solving how to get objects to work. Blocks and tweezers are critical in the development of fine motor skills. Blocks are also a great tool for children to create friendships and work on the social piece of preschool learning. Learning how to share, working together, and basic communication are just some of the skills we work on teaching so they are able to grow up and build each year on those skills. Fine motor development is crucial because it is the basis for children to learn to write. Before students are able to write their name, they need the tools and ability to hold a writing tool properly which is something the tweezers sets can help with.
