Many of our students have difficulty processing the sights, sounds, touch, and movement experiences that make up every school day. Access to sensorimotor activities helps our children learn how to regulate their bodies so they are ready to learn and grow in the classroom. Help us to fund equipment for our sensorimotor room equipment to allow our children the space and tools they need for success! The rocking bowl chair will allow our students to gain vestibular input to calm their bodies. The students can use their creativity to move and build with the large foam blocks providing them with opportunities for heavy work and receiving regulating pressure to their joints. The bean bags can be used for a variety of activities including target throwing to improve student's visual perceptual skills, letter and color recognition, and teaching cooperative play with their peers. This equipment will support our students' sensory needs and allow them to be in an optimal state for learning in the classroom.
