The materials selected will help students see that science and engineering are not just subjects they study in school, but they are also possible career paths for them in the future. It is my hope that my students will become excited about science and STEM, and that this excitement will help them see that by performing well in school now, it will open up more possibilities for them in the future. I really want my students to understand that science, engineering and STEM are areas that they can succeed in, not just because they are learning it in school, but because it is their future.
