My first grade students will get much needed reading practice in this listening center. They will read along with the recording and use the pictures in the story book to help them with their reading comprehension. This center will help students who are struggling by taking of the pressure and allowing them to enjoy the story. This center will also help students practice working independently through reading and listening while fostering the joy of reading. It will also help me work with other students who are at a different reading level, whether it be testing or practicing a specific literacy or phonetic skill.

About my class
