Currently, the school district contracts for printers in each classroom. However, the classroom printers provided are not color printers. The students do not have access to color printing unless they access the sole color printer which is located in the office of the career center. Many assignments are internet-based, and students often don't have access to print those assignments and display the images in color. It will also serve for projects in learning about financial literacy, spreadsheets, and budgeting spreadsheets. Access to a color printer in the classroom will be a more convenient, less intrusive way for them to complete their academic, as well as, technical assignments. This will improve the quality of the submission of their assignments, and in turn, their grades will improve.
