I am so very excited about the upcoming school year in kindergarten. I have taught K for over 8 years. This year, as you can imagine, learning will be...different to say the very least. I want to be able to still give my students a grand adventure into their first real experience with formal school. In order to give my students a good learning experience, I need to make sure that they trust their new room is safe. My primary job is to make sure that I take care of my students' well-being. This project can help me ensure that I can keep their belongings separated as much as possible. The masks will be kept in the classroom in the event that a student forgets to bring one and the face masks will be used during small groups. Also, what kindergartener doesn't like to be read to? The books that I am requesting can be used as a strategy to engage and calm my new students and quell their fears about starting school. I can't wait to get this school year started. Won't you please help us make this a GREAT year? Thank you!
