My goal is to create a community that is full of readers who can explore and fall in love with the world of books independently. Being a first year teacher, I am discovering gaps in my supplies, and a bookshelf is one of those things. My students currently have no way to easily explore thematic and leveled books, without great assistance from me, or the librarian. This book shelf will allow students to know exactly what books are leveled and appropriate for them on an independent reading level. Alongside that, I am asking for a Laminating Machine and Pouches to help the longevity of the meaningful hands on activities that are being created to assist in their learning!
