The tools that I have selected will help my students to gain a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts, and it will help them to improve their number sense. What is number sense? Number sense is the ability to be flexible with numbers. It helps children understand both how our number system works, and how numbers relate to each other. Children who develop number sense have a range of mathematical strategies at their disposal. They know when to use them and how to adapt them to meet different situations. I will use these tools to help each of my students improve their number sense, which will help them to have a better grasp on mathematics.
