I am trying to increase literacy at my school. I have found that students reading at their desk makes them distracted because they are not comfortable. I am hoping to turn my media center into a space for kids to read and feel comfortable to unwind just for a moment each and every day. The double decko seating and cozy loungers will be used in the media center during specials. I am putting together a reading center where students will be able to read comfortably in a quiet environment. I hope that this endeavor will help increase literacy for all of my students. Thanks!
