Play has a key role in developing, encouraging, and promoting speech-language and social skills. These manipulatives offer a variety of opportunities for building communication and language skills through play and shared interactions. They will be used during one on one and small group speech-language therapy sessions. The magnets, bean bags, games, and exciting toys all promote vocabulary development in a variety of categories. These include body parts, shapes, colors, letters, foods, and clothing. Students are more motivated to communicate and learn when playing with exciting colorful toys and interactive manipulatives.
