My students must keep up with the latest advancements in technology to spark an interest in learning. Education and information exchange is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Many times I have set up lessons dependent on technology to support the lesson only to have little materials to work with. Our related arts team is looking to supplement our current technology and begin to establish our own set to support our engaging lessons in each specialist classroom. By funding our project students will be able to expand their knowledge in health and physical education, create a more beautiful world with art projects and expand their current knowledge base in language acquisition class. We are aiming to develop a 1 to1 ratio of technology on an as-needed basis in each subject area. With the right tools, our students can expand their learning outside of the core subjects and help contribute to a broad and changing global society.
