All of my students love bean bag chairs, but I have found that some students really benefit from using them when they are needing the feeling of pressure on their body. We have a sensory room in our school. Unfortunately, it is quite a distance from our classroom and sometimes we are unable to take a students in need to the room due to other circumstances. My students love to lay on the floor and place the bean bag chair on their legs/torso to help them become calmer and ready to learn in a matter of minutes. Our classroom would highly benefit from having our own bean bag chairs that stay in our classroom in a calming corner to help students find relief within our classroom.
