The materials requested will allow for students to learn on a fully functioning instrument that they will not be required to share as often. This means they will be able to practice without restriction and better contribute to the sound of our ensemble. As of right now, we have four, bass clarinet players and only one working bass clarinet. We need this instrument to help not only the individual, but the whole ensemble as well. The other students rely heavily on a confident and full, low voiced section, so having multiple working instruments in the ensemble will go a long way in helping the experience of every student!
