These materials will make a difference by adding the opportunity for Steam/Stem Small Groups in our classroom. As a Title 1 school, our funding is limited, and many projects get funded by us teachers. I have wanted to expand our math small group activities with steam/stem activities to allow my students to not only investigate and explore, but to learn in a more active, hands-on way that allows my students to be an active participant in their own learning. Children in kindergarten have a natural and innate curiosity about the world we live in - I want to encourage that curiosity and lay a foundation for a desire to keep learning and exploring! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student creativity and exploration in Math and beyond, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and help better prepare them for future learning.
