I have the student buy-in, now I just need additional help with materials and supports to help them stay engaged and motivated. Students learn best when the material is presented in multiple ways. Technology is one area that I utilize to provide differentiation and support for topics learned in class. These headphones will help my students gain access to their curriculum by providing necessary read-aloud support. Many are struggling readers and as such, do not successfully engage in their learning. Auditory support will allow them to listen and read along for instructional and Response to Intervention (RTI) materials. This eases the frustration and desire to quit or avoid the task for those reading on a different level. It evens the playing field and meets every student where they are.
