My special needs students need new and adaptive equipment in order to perform swimming tasks during our pool time. The equipment at the pool is very old and needs to be updated badly. For example, some of our belts have straps missing, which is causing a safety concern for our nonmobile students. Some of my autistic students need equipment to help with being able to go underwater without hesitation. That's just some examples of the different disabilities at our school. Donations to help my special needs students will help our adapted swim class tremendously. All the equipment at our school is old and out of date. By getting equipment that my students can actually use will make a huge difference in my adapted swim class.
