My first grade students would greatly benefit from the option to wiggle while they work. With the addition of flexible seating, my students’ needs of continuous movement will be met. The bouncy desk bands will provide an outlet to get some energy out while still engaged and learning. The wobble stools will allow my students the opportunity to work and move at the same time. The chair cushions will provide a comfortable seat to sit in either at their desks or when working around the room. My goal with this project is to help my little learners work best in the seat they are most comfortable with.
