My class currently doesn't have a space for students to go to when they are feeling stressed, anxious, or need some time to refocus on themselves. These materials will be the foundations to setting up a peace corner in our classroom where students will be able to self-regulate themselves, relax, and re-center their focus. The bean bag chair and pillow will provide a comfortable space for the students, while the sand and sensory tools will give them something to focus on kinetically. This is just the first step in making this space a great tool for my class to use when they need a chance to regroup. Thank you so much for your support!
