If this project is funded I will be able to offer fitness classes as an option for physical education class. Based on Surveys conducted by the student body, results show a strong interest in fitness education classes. Unfortunately my school lacks the budget to get equipment to get this started. Most high school students cannot afford a gym membership. Getting this equipment will open up the opportunity for before and after school programs where students can get additional exercise. With a quality fitness center our school can begin to work against the obesity epidemic and inspire students to be active and live healthy lifestyles.
