Our students work hard throughout the season and it starts in the hot summer. The marching band are moving more than the average walker, but they have to blow an immense amount of air to get sound out of the instrument. Some of their instruments are pretty heavy and in order to keep everyone uniformed, members must keep their horn at the perfect angle. Some consider marching band to be a sport while other consider it to be like a physical performance. Marching band is moving to a different direction where there is more choreography in the performers body movements where it is more dance. Having extra water on hand and ready to give to our students ensures us that they are performing at their best and that we are taking care of them just like any sports' team would for their players.
