Our students use a variety of technology and equipment to increase their independence. A smooth operating battery powered hoyer lift will help them to safely move from one location to another throughout the school day. It is a better option than the manual lift we currently have because it has a higher rate of stability. It is also more efficient for the classroom staff who support the students. Students in our class have physical support needs that will benefit from a smoother operating lift. Each year up to ten students will benefit from this newer equipment.

About my class
