This project will give my students a safe place to go in the classroom when they are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or anxious. They will be able to work through their emotions using the materials provided which are specifically chosen to calm the mind. This project will help teach my students a healthy way to handle their feelings and emotions and will help my classroom feel more like home to them. It will also serve as a reading center to help them develop a love for reading in a comfortable, relaxing environment.
