My students need alternative seating including wobble seats, yoga balls and seat cushions in the classroom to help them find a space that works best for their learning. My students come to school eager to learn each day. They thrive in a learning community enriched with engaging activities and work hard to learn everything they can. Using flexible seating in the classroom would give each student the chance to have a successful school year. Over 90% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches. The families we serve really want what is best for their kids and trust me as their teacher to help make those decisions. The students in my classroom are very loving and caring individuals. I want to foster the love and care of school. I also want to empower my students so they can be successful in the decisions they make on a daily basis.
