Our school has begun constructing an outdoor classroom, with the support of community members, families, and school staff. We have built garden beds, a storage shed, and have plans for an outdoor classroom space. Our next objective will involve students preparing and planting indoors and ultimately transferring plants outside in time for the spring growing season. With your support, we can give our students the tools and learning necessary to create a successful garden. The skills they learn through this project will have lasting effects on their school, families, and community. Real-world projects are what our students need to take their learning to the next level.
