Recess is an important part of school for my students' age group. We have two periods of recess a day for our kindergartners. This is time for them to have a brain break, interact socially, learn conflict/resolution skills, etc. Sometimes weather impacts going outdoors and leaves us with limited options for indoor recess. With this project, you can help provide engaging, interactive materials along with the opportunity to continue developing those social-emotional skills during a crucial developmental stage- rain or shine. Not only will these products be utilized for indoor recess, they can also tie in to academics in the classroom at other times. The jumbo brick building set and puzzles will provide social interaction with peers while challenging them to problem solve. This items will also build/develop fine and gross motor skills, this type of play equipment will provide many different avenues of learning.
