Read alouds are an amazing experience in our early childhood classrooms! Students enjoy this time of day! While sharing books on the carpet, students enjoy pointing to familiar pictures and/or words. It's exciting when students recognize a familiar letter, word, or photo. We want to make this is an engaging and educational experience for all students in the class. Our goal is start building our classroom library with BIG BOOKS to support the development of early literacy skills! Students will have the the opportunity to practice oral language skills and various print concepts! Thanks for helping us support literacy opportunities!
