These books will make a difference in my students' learning since I have many students that are limited English proficient. These books will help engage them in class, familiarize them with American classics, and also keep their own heritage language. It will also provide them the opportunity to select reading materials they can enjoy at home and help create our own classroom lending library. They will be able to comfortably participate during independent reading and be able to complete assignments, especially with the help of Google translator. The students will be able to have a variety of books to choose from, not only by reading level, but by interest, genre, and topics. They will be able to experience reading the classics with us in class, but in their own language!

About my class
