The construction materials requested (vehicles, tools, safety equipment) will be a great addition to our block area because it will help foster the children's self-esteem and decision making! Our curious students will be able to live and experience new concepts rather than just reading about them. Playing with a variety of building and creative products helps children build self-confidence and encourages their independent learning too. By allowing children freedom in construction play it also makes them think independently and make decisions based on what they are learning. Students will be challenged to problem solve and work in collaborative groups while learning 21st century skills!
