The additional 75 books will enrich the existing classroom library and expand student choices in book selection that will excite them. They are eagerly waiting for new books to arrive in the classroom. They now know that books can open up different ways for them to experience the world, especially through the lens of the protagonists. In the requested book list, about one third of the books are horror and mysteries, which my students love the most. Another one third are newer titles are not in my collection which students have repeatedly requested. Finally the last one third are titles that have diverse protagonists that are exploring their own identities within a new context and overcoming life's challenges. With your support, they will continue to grow into lifelong readers!
