The purchase of this drone will be a great addition to our investigation of mathematics concepts in real-world situations and scenarios. We will be using it as we discuss concepts like: absolute value, speed calculations, distance calculations, data collection and analysis, and even for algebraic skills! Beyond just instructional purposes, this drone will also be used for whole school activities! With the ability to take videos, this drone will be used to gather videos of school activities so presentations can be put together to show on the morning announcements, during special events, or even share with the local community! This goes way beyond just the classroom!
