Math has come a long way in the past few years. Gone are the days of dusty chalk and heavy textbooks. Students now rely on technology for a large portion of their learning experience. However, the equipment must be up to date and reliable in order for it to be effective. My current headphones are several years old. Most of them are broke and the remainder do not perform well. My students, especially my diverse learners, depend on the verbal directions provided by programs such as IXL. I am asking for 25 pairs of new headphones for my class. These headphones will be utilized daily while students are using computerized enrichment programs. Testing occurs three times during the school year. New headphones will allow the students to listen clearly to the exams and will aid in increasing their overall test performance.
