I teach numeracy (math intervention) which is a supplemental math course for the middle school students who are struggling with math. We have a math program called iReady that is used as a diagnostic tool and a learning tool for the students. iReady identifies the student's grade level based on their testing. These students need tools necessary for them to become successful. The intent of the class is for all the students to work on iReady and other supplemental programs such as Khan Acadamy and XTRA math. At the moment I have about 15 older laptops which in not enough to get 100 percent of the students working on the computers. At this point I am requesting 10 computers which will be enough for all the students to be on computers. Eventually, I plan to get additional computers though future projects so I can phase out the older ones.
