Students show great enthusiasm when they have the ability to make a choice in any matter. Offering different forms of seating will not only provide students choices in their own learning experience but help them figure out what style of seating best aids in enhancing their own individual needs. My students learn best when they can move or wiggle at their desks all throughout the school day. Engagement is key to educational progress and I believe that offering the choice of flexible seating not only allows students to get wiggles out but can also help focus and limit distractions in the classroom. If funded, you will be providing my students the opportunity to take a lead in their own learning and add a fun twist to gaining knowledge while wiggling.
