Our class has adopted a new hands on curriculum that allows the children to learn academic content from a mentor text. Then through STEM, Drama, Art, Library, Writing and Drawing and Building and Construction "Studios," children construct their learning using a variety of materials and modalities. The children move through these studios by choice and produce exhibits of their learning. New tables and chairs will give the children the opportunity to collaborate on their projects by utilizing community seating. The children work together creating projects to evaluate and demonstrate their knowledge of concepts. Children will then present their projects to a variety of audiences.
